EcoLids turn various standard bins into colourful recycling bins: so if your bin has a diameter between 40cm and 53cm wide, then an EcoLid would fit your litter bin and turn it into a recycling bin.
EcoLids can be embossed with the following waste names:
- Paper (white word on a blue lid);
- Plastic (black word on a yellow lid);
- Glass (white word on a light blue lid);
- Tin (white word on a red lid);
- Food (white word on a green lid) – to collect compostable waste,
- Other (white word on a green or black lid) – to collect mixed waste,
- Recyclables (white word on a green lid) and
- Non-Recyclable (white word on a red or black lid).
EcoLids are great for schools, canteens, hotel kitchens, as well as outdoor areas – as their robustness will conquer any weather conditions, making them highly durable.
EcoLids fit a variety of standard bins, which can be purchased together with the lids. The various bins available include: Cement/cobble bins, a 100litre quality polyethylene bin (as per our EcoCylinder Bin) and an economical 85 litre plastic bin.
EcoLids are currently being used at the University of Cape Town campus, at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) and at the Two-Ocean’s Aquarium in Cape Town (among others).
